Cindy Rose has been named SVP and managing director of the Walt Disney Internet Group for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Rose will manage all aspects of WDIG’s European regional operations, including premium subscription content, internet-based services (broadband, IPTV) and mobile applications, overseeing Disney.com‘s 14 localized European websites.
For the next 18 months, Rose’s top priority will be rolling out the new Disney.com to the major European markets and growing Disney’s broadband properties.
Rose joined Disney in 1995, and most recently held the post of SVP and managing director for Walt Disney International, UK and Ireland.
