Cookie Jar Entertainment is counting on North America becoming a Magi-Nation this fall, having sewn up broadcast deals for the 26 x half-hour series with Kids’ WB! and Canadian pubcasters CBC and Radio-Canada.

Magi-Nation follows the adventures of 15-year-old Terry Jones, who is mystically transported into a world full of heroes and villains where magic is reality and the Moonlands must be defended from the evil Shadow Magi.

The property is based on a game developed by Interactive Imagination Corporation, and it already has a full online presence with interactive games and a web community. The 2-D animated series is a co-production between Cookie Jar and South Korea’s Daiwon Animation.
