Looking to eke even more mileage out of Nelvana’s already well-developed brand lineup, Toper Taylor is looking for a few good execs. Over the next six months, the Canadian outfit’s new president of international distribution, marketing and consumer products will be launching a marketing unit that will put brand managers in place to guide the performance of each key property. Taylor is looking to bring five or more marketing specialists aboard, and candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in the field.

In other news, Nelvana parentco Corus Entertainment has acquired a 50% share in The Locomotion Channel, a Spanish- and Portugese-language animation net that beams into seven million subscribing homes in Latin America, Spain and Portugal.
