The Minneapolis-based prodco will bow two of its own toons-Adventures in Cromwell and The Twelve Days of Christmas-at MIP-TV, as well as repping Minneapolis-based eMotion Capture Studio’s Woodfin and Just So Stories. All projects are currently in development and seeking co-pro partners and casters.

Budgeted at US$350,000 per ep, Adventures in Cromwell is based on the children’s books and characters by author/illustrator Nancy Carlson. The 40 x half-hour, cel-animated series is geared to ages four to 10 and could be ready for delivery in August 2001.

The Twelve Days of Christmas is an hour-long special based on the X-mas carol of the same name. When a boy named Jeremy overhears his mother reciting the famous festive wish list, he takes her literally and sets off around the world in search of 11 lords-a-leaping and all the rest. With a budget of US$400,000, the 2-D hour-long special is geared to a family audience and is aiming for a November delivery.

Woodfin is a 26 x half-hour series geared to ages three to seven that stars a chameleon who can turn into all the colors of the rainbow. The 3-D/2-D animated hybrid is budgeted at US$250,000 per ep and is slated for delivery in October.

Based on Rudyard Kipling’s book of the same name, Just So Stories is a 26 x two-and-a-half minute interstitial budgeted at US$20,000 per ep. The family-targeted 2-D/3-D toon is also looking to deliver in October. Each episode is narrated by the 3-D Koola Koola Bird, and is devoted to one of the Kipling stories.
