Toys `R’ Us has announced plans to buy Saddle Brook, New Jersey-based specialty toy chain Imaginarium Toy Centers Inc. Pending the deal’s consumation later this month, TRU will implement special Imaginarium boutiques, featuring popular educational toys, into of all of its C-3 stores. Additionaly, TRU is also considering adding stand-alone Imaginarium locations to the 41-store chain.
