Following the renegotiation of its output deal with Warner for animation series, France 2 will modify its Saturday morning youth slot in June. The initial Warner Toons Show, a 50-minute segment starting at 7:50 a.m. that’s produced by Warner Animation and anchored by the Tiny Toons, will be replaced by a slot dedicated to France 2’s own French and European animated series co-productions. Rachel Khan, head of the youth department, will shortly announce the new slot’s budget and design. According to the new deal, Warner, whose animated images are distributed in France by Kayenta Productions, will exclusively supply the networks with specials during the vacation periods. Until June, France 2 will rerun Warner series.
