This December, The Secret of Saurus Rock meets rocky road as Universal Studios Consumer Products Group teams up with Dairy Queen to launch a massive character-driven promotion for the sixth The Land Before Time home video.
Participating Dairy Queen stores across the U.S. and Canada will distribute velcro wristbands fastened to a Cera water squirter, a Chomper action figure, a Littlefoot pullback toy, or a Ducky whistle. These ‘Wristables’ will be free with Kid’s Meals or 99 cents with other purchases. The promotion will be supported by character cake designs, posters and ad slicks.
A cross-promotion with BAMA Jams and Jellies is also running until next February. It features six scenes from the new video on over one million collectible jelly jars.
