International TV executive Simon Hart has been retained as a consultant for Alliance Atlantis Communications. Hart’s goal is to devise a concise business plan that brings the children’s programming production activities of the merged Alliance Atlantis under one roof, and to establish an Alliance Atlantis children’s brand. Currently, four animation and three live-action projects are going forward. Hart will work with Seaton McLean, president of Alliance Atlantis Television Production on projects including The Beezers (produced with Calibre Digital Pictures, aimed at the kids three to seven market and launching at MIPCOM), The Adventures of Peter Cottontail, Rescue Heroes and 108 Outlaws.

Hart previously served as president of Ellipse Program USA, as well as head of international co-productions for Ellipse France. Prior to this, she was an executive for Canal Plus.
