LONDON: The U.K.’s top-rated basic satellite channel Sky One is pulling out of children’s programming, paving the way for the launch of Fox Children’s Network (FCN) this fall. Sky One’s withdrawal, however, is not expected to signal the end of its interest in the U.K. children’s market. After merger talks between FCN and Flextech fell through earlier this year, all indications are that FCN will launch as part of Sky One’s multichannel package.
