PARIS: The CTF (Communauté des télévisions francophones/French-speaking Television Community) concluded its annual meeting with the youth programming departments of France 2, France 3, RTBF of Belgium, TSR of Switzerland and SRC of Canada, in Biarritz, France, by announcing the launch of program-related French-speaking Web sites.
European channels will follow the example of Canada’s French public broadcaster SRC, which launched a 400-page site last January aimed at children aged four to 12.
Once all sites are in operation, they will be linked to allow children to navigate to each of the French-speaking television youth sites.
