A national cash rebate program and a major advertising campaign will support the fall release of a new home video from Sony Wonder, The Forgotten Toys.

The 30-minute video based on the book The Night After Christmas by James Stevenson is part of Sony’s ‘Experience the Wonder of the Holidays’ promotion, which includes the release of a new Sesame Street video Elmo Saves Christmas and other Sesame Street video, audio and book and tape titles.

The rebate program for The Forgotten Toys will be handled through Discover Card’s national ‘The Big Payback Adventure’ promotion that includes five other holiday re-releases. Cardholders will receive a $2 cash rebate with the purchase of The Forgotten Toys video.

The program will be supported by national advertising in November and December. A sweepstakes will give consumers who purchase products with their Discover Card a chance to win adventure merchandise and an adventure trip.
