– Following swiftly on the heels of the June 21 launch of the animated movie, Disney Interactive of Burbank, California, will be bringing out GameBreak! The Hunchback of Notre Dame Topsy Turvy Games on August 14.

Targeted at players seven and older, the title includes five games and features the characters, as well as some settings, from the movie. It will be available for Windows 3.1 and Windows 95.

7th Level of Richardson, Texas, developed the game, which is the second in its line of GameBreak! products for Disney. GameBreak! Timon & Pumbaa’s Jungle Games came out last November.

– Powerhouse Entertainment of Dallas, Texas, and Golden Books Family Entertainment of Racine, Wisconsin, are bringing the long-lasting Little Golden Books line into the interactive world with a series of six titles to come out by October.

The Sailor Dog and Mr. Right’s Animal Farm kicked off last month. As well as allowing children to hear or read the story, the interactive storybooks feature games, songs and puzzles. The products are targeted at children three to six.

The House That Had Enough and The Adventures of Goat will launch next month, with The Little Red Caboose and The Magic Paintbox slated for October.

Each of the six titles are based on stories that first appeared in book form. In 1995, the Little Golden Books series celebrated 50 years in publication.

All six titles will run on Windows 3.1 and Windows 95, and will be available in the U.S. The companies are looking to distribute the line internationally.

The two companies are jointly developing and marketing the titles, and plan to cross-promote them with the books.
