LONDON: Martin Gates Productions and Carrington Productions International have signed a North American video rights deal and a three-picture output agreement with Hallmark Home Entertainment.
The video rights deal is for an adaption of Hans Christian Andersen’s story The Ugly Duckling, which is in production now and scheduled for delivery in early 1997.
The three-picture deal will involve other classic children’s stories that will be co-produced between MGP and Carrington over the next three years.
