Los Angeles-based Matinee Entertainment has acquired the rights to CreeD, a comic book published by Lightning Comics, to develop an animated TV series and merchandising spin-offs.
Lightning comics released the first full-color CreeD comic books a year ago.
Created by 19-year-old Trent Kaniuga, CreeD is the story of an average high school student, Mark, whose dreams can affect his reality. With his guardian frog CJ (who can morph into a dragon), Mark d’es battle with The Void, a dream-destroying creature.
