– 7th Level Inc., an interactive multimedia consumer software producer, has entered into several joint ventures. Disney Interactive is the partner for an arcade game series, Timon & Pumbaa’s Jungle Games, based on The Lion King, which was released in the U.S. last November with an international release date in the spring of ’96. 7th Level and Morgan Creek are set to develop multiple interactive products based on an animated version of Ace Ventura. The first release, an action and adventure game will be available in August 1996. Chuck E. Cheese, America Online and Compuserve promotions are included with 7th Level’s The Great Word Adventure, a language skills program for ages 6 to 9.

– ABC’s popular Saturday morning animated grammar lessons, Schoolhouse Rock: Grammar Rock, are now available on CD-ROM by Creative Wonders, a joint venture of Capital Cities/ABC and Electronic Arts.

– Enteractive Inc., a multimedia CD-ROM publisher, recently released Earth Explorer, an encyclopedia of the environment for kids age10 and up. Earth Explorer is being marketed to retail outlets and the educational market by Apple Computer’s AppleSoft Division.
