Children’s toy and entertainment company Spin Master – the largest of its kind in Canada – is throwing itself into the building category with the acquisition of 112-year-old construction toy brand Meccano (known as Erector Set in the US).
Toy manufacturer Spin Master will serve as the global master toy licensee for DreamWorks’ Dragons franchise, which includes the newly launched television series as well as the sequel to the original How to Train Your Dragon film.

Paris-based Marathon Media (part of Zodiak Kids), and Toronto, Canada’s Spin Master have started rolling out Redakai in Italy with the broadcast launch of Redakai: Conquer the Kairu and the upcoming debut of the brand’s trading card game at Italian retailers this October.
Zodiak Kids’ Redakai: Conquer the Kairu has been sold to three more broadcasters, including Kabel 1 in Germany, VT4 in Flemish speaking Belgium and Club RTL in French speaking Belgium.
