Scholastic Media president and EVP Deborah Forte is leaving the company to launch Silvertongue Films, a new venture under which a slate of popular Scholastic properties will be brought to the big screen via a three-year first-look deal with Universal Pictures.
Furthering its efforts to find the best and brightest young animators, Nickelodeon has partnered with US nonprofit Get Schooled on a scholarship program that will award one animator US$25,000 for an original short.
More than 1,700 delegates came to the 2015 event in its new location, with significant growth from Asia and North America. Dates for 2016′s Summit have also been set.
