1.  I wasn’t allowed to have a Barbie doll as a little girl. My mother didn’t approve of Barbie as a role model. The story obviously has a happy ending…When I was 25 she gifted me my first(of many) Barbie dolls and begged for my forgiveness for her depriving me of that simple childhood joy. Now, of course, I have the ultimate revenge -- as a VP at Mattel I have the absolute joy of working on the Barbie business every day! Plus my collection has certainly grown.
2.  I played the lead role in every theatrical production, both in school and in summer camp while growing up, and thought that for sure, one day, I would be a famous actress.
3.  Given the choice, I will always choose pizza over a gourmet meal, any day. Good thing I enjoy my work-outs!
