Federation Kids & Family has secured new broadcast sales for the ballet-focused tween series.
September 13, 2019

Parisian producer-distributor Federation Kids & Family is sending all three seasons of Cottonwood Media’s popular tween drama Find Me in Paris to Disney Channel Latin America.

The 78 x half-hour series centers on a time-traveling Russian ballet dancer stuck in modern day Paris. It’s expected to air on Disney Channel LatAm in the first half of 2020.

Cottonwood (the children’s production arm of Federation) co-produces the series alongside ZDF, ZDF Enterprises, Be-FILMS and the Opera National de Paris. Find Me in Paris is written and co-executive produced by Jill Girling and Lori Mather-Welch (creators of Nickelodeon’s Ride), and produced by Federation co-founder David Michel, Zoé Carrera Allaix and Cecile Lauritano.

Since launching in 2018, a number of international broadcasters have already snapped up the series including CBC (Canada), SIC (Portugal), RTBF (Belgium), France Télévisions, Disney (France and Italy), Nickelodeon (UK), NBC Universal and Hulu (US), ABC (Australia), VRT (Belgium), RAI (Italy), Quebecor (French-speaking Canada), HBO (Portugal), Hot TV (Israel) and Showmax (South Africa).

The IP’s global licensing and merchandising presence also continues to expand. Earlier this week Cottonwood signed LA marketing firm Beacon Rock Growth as the first North American licensing agent for the series. Plans are in the works for fashion, accessories, publishing, home and decor, stationery and audio electronic products to launch in the second half of 2020. Other licensing agents include Retail Monster (UK), Planeta Junior (Italy) and France tv Distribution (France).
