Abu Dhabi’s department of culture and tourism for has signed a five year agreement with Viacom International Media Networks to bring the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards and live activation, The World of Nickelodeon, to the city.

The first Nickelodeon KCA Abu Dhabi will be on September 20 at the city’s National Exhibition Center. It will feature musical and entertainment performances from regional and international performers…and of course lots of green slime. Fans will also be able to vote for their favorite artists and talent across a variety of categories, that haven’t been announced yet.

The KCA, typically held in LA, has also been expanded to include regional showings in Berlin, London and Mexico City. This marks the show’s first Middle Eastern expansion.

Meanwhile, The World of Nickelodeon will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center from September 19 to 21. The live activation is for kids and families, with a dedicated area for them to interact with Nickelodeon characters and experience the world of those TV shows in real life. More details will be revealed at a later date.
