Paris-based producer/distributor Cyber Group Studios and multiplatform distributor Future Today partnered to launch YayToons, a free app available via OTT platforms. YayToons will features close to 300 episodes of Cyber Groups’ animated content for kids three-to-eight years old. Available in the US on platforms including Amazon, Fire TV, Roku and Apple TV, YayToons could also expand to other platforms, and internationally.
Future Today is sending a slate of Cyber Group’s content to YayToons inlcuding, Zou (pictured), The Bellflower Bunnies, Mini Ninjas, Mirette Investigates, The Pirates Next Door, Adam’s Bakery, Balloop, Mia, Leo The Wildlife Ranger, Tales of Tatonka, and Animalia. The producer plans to add even more content in the future.
Cyber Group isn’t the only prodco moving its content to OTT platforms with Future Today. MGA Entertainment partnered with the distribution company to expand its original L.O.L Surprise! digital content to Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire starting April 1. Future Today also teamed up with Outfit7 late last year to release Talking Tom and Friends on the same platforms.
