Hasbro has tapped LA-based Kilburn Live to produce and tour a live stage show based on the Power Rangers brand across North America. Kilburn is partnering with live touring company Koba Entertainment to bring the all-ages show to audiences, with tour dates and locations to be announced later this year.
Last year, Hasbro inked an agreement to acquire the billion-dollar, 25-year-old Power Rangers franchise for approximately US$522 million, as well as a number of other entertainment properties from Saban Brands. Then it signed a licensing agreement with Kilburn in November to have it create, build and operate themed family centers across North America that will feature well-known Hasbro brands.
