CN expands Johanne Broadfield’s L&M role

The Turner EMEA exec has been upped to VP of Cartoon Network Enterprises and International Strategy.

Turner International is upping Joanne Broadfield to VP of Cartoon Network Enterprises and International Strategy. She will now oversee licensing activities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as partnering with teams in the the US, LatAm and APAC to shape the company’s global consumer products business view.

The CNE unit Broadfield leads spans product licensing, promotions, publishing, home entertainment, location-based entertainment, live events and retail development for  Turner’s portfolio of high-profile Cartoon Network brands. While she heads things up alone in EMEA, Broadfield is jointly responsible for licensing in LatAm with Pablo Zuccarino, SVP and GM of Turner Kids LatAm, and will work closely with Vikram Sharma, VP of Cartoon Network Enterprises Asia Pacific and will be partnering with the US to shape its view.

Broadfield joined Turner EMEA in February 2014 from Mattel, where she was senior director of licensing for Continental Europe and led Fisher-Price’s consumer products division for EMEA.

Also recently pr0moted at Turner EMEA is The Amazing World of Gumball producer Sarah Fell, who was named director of original kids series, with a mandate to oversee development and production in the region.
