JAKKS joins Becca’s Bunch as master toy partner

An extensive CP program for JAM Media's preschool series is expected to roll out at US retail starting in fall 2019.

California’s JAKKS Pacific has been appointed as the exclusive global master toy partner for JAM Media’s mixed-media series Becca’s Bunch.

JAKKS will roll out a robust consumer products program encompassing figurines, playsets and accessories, vehicles, musical instruments, plush, everyday dress-up, role play, arts and crafts, board games and accessories, Halloween costumes and accessories, outdoor/indoor furniture, wagons, ride-ons, play tents, ball pits, balls and outdoor games. The program will kick off at US retail in fall 2019 with plush, figurines, musical instruments, vehicles, and playsets.

The toyco joins publishing partners Candlewick Press and Egmont, which are also launching a first wave of products next fall.

Blending live action, puppetry, 2D and CG animation, Becca’s Bunch centers around an ambitious bird and her best anthropomorphic friends.

The series made its US debut on Nick Jr. on September 24, following an international premiere with Nickelodeon in July. It has also been snapped up by ABC Australia, CBC Kids (Canada) and France Télévisions.
