Golden Bear extends Twirlywoos master toy

The toymaker has lengthened its agreement with DHX Brands to serve as global master toy partner for the preschool brand through 2020.

DHX Brands has extended the tenure of Golden Bear as global master toy partner for preschool brand Twirlywoos through 2020.

Golden Bear has been managing the brand’s toy program since 2014, and its Twirlywoos range has expanded to include figures, playsets, a run-along line and specialty plush.

Originally commissioned by CBeebies, Twirlywoos focuses on four bird-like characters who go on adventures and learn about the world around them. The series is produced in association with DHX Media, which also handles global distribution, merchandising, brand management and marketing for the property.

It has been a positive couple of months for Golden Bear. In August, it was named master toy partner for CBBC show Waffle the Wonder Dog and will launch a toy range featuring specialty plush in October.
