OTT platform XUMO is launching two new children’s channels from Endemol Shine Group and one from Genius Brands International today.

Its free streaming TV service recently reported a 325% rise in viewership and a 90% increase in user consumption over the past year. The aggregated platform is integrated on smart TVs from LG, Vizio, Panasonic, Funai Eletronics and Roku devices as well as on mobile devices for iOS and Android.

Endemol is sending its Mr Bean and Friends and Puddle Jumper channels to XUMO. Mr Bean and Friends originally launched in 2017 as a YouTube vertical aimed at five- to nine-year-olds and features more than 12 shows from the Endemol Shine catalog including Mr Bean—The Animated Series (pictured) and Sea Princesses. Preschool channel Puddle Jumper also launched on YouTube last year and has since generated more than 17 million views, with popular kids shows Bananas in Pyjamas and The Adventures of Bottle Top Bill.

XUMO has also picked up GBI’s Kid Genius Cartoon Channel for its platform, which features programming focused on STEM, social-emotional development and literacy skills. Some of the series available are Warren Buffett’s Secret Millionaires Club, Thomas Edison’s Secret Lab and Baby Genius TV.

The OTT platform also signed agreements with Eleven Sports and ATTN. The new programming will bolster the company’s offering of more than 140 channels across 12 genres, available in 30 million US households.
