DHX Media-owned digital kids network WildBrain inked an exclusive agreement with Sunrights to develop and manage global YouTube strategy (excluding Asia) for Beyblade Burst.
The two-year deal will also see WildBrain produce six original videos for a launch on the fan-run YouTube channel BeybladeGeeks. The content is designed to support the recently released range of battling tops as well as the Beyblade Burst World Championship in November.
WildBrain will manage Beyblade Burst‘s local language channels, using existing content from the animated series to develop a wider audience. Additionally, WildBrain will launch an influencer campaign with the BeybladeGeeks YouTube channel to support various brand activities.
Beyblade Burst Evolution follows a group of Bladers as they battle each other in an effort to become the best in the world. Disney XD and Canada’s Corus Entertainment recently renewed the show for a second season.
Earlier this month, WildBrain partnered with Brazilian animation studio Alopra to co-produce the second season of Hydro and Fluid, marking the first series it has ever co-produced.
