Universal Kids has picked up Sutikki co-pro Moon and Me for a US premiere this fall.

Created by Andrew Davenport (Teletubbies, In the Night Garden), the 50 x 22-minute series will make its global debut on CBeebies this year, followed by a rollout in Mainland China in 2019 (via distributor UYoung).

Sutikki (the kids and family division of Bento Box Entertainment) and Davenport’s Foundling Bird co-produce the preschool toon, with the former holding all global distribution and merchandise licensing rights to the property. Inspired by stories of toys that come to life when nobody is looking, the series also includes comedy and music.

In terms of licensing, Hasbro joined the brand as global master toy partner last year, with new products set to roll out in the toymaker’s Playskool portfolio. Meanwhile, as global master publishing partner, Scholastic will launch titles in multiple territories this fall.
