Paris-based distributor Federation Kids & Family has inked a raft of broadcast and licensing agreements for sister company Cottonwood Media’s animated preschool series The Ollie & Moon Show.
The latest broadcasters across Europe to snap up the show’s first two seasons include K2 (Italy), RTP (Portugal), ERRTV (Estonia) and LTV (Latvia). Discovery Latin America, meanwhile, has added the second season to its schedule.
Additionally, Planeta Junior has signed a deal to represent the show’s licensing rights in France, following its premiere in the territory in 2017. Planeta Junior joins existing licensing partners in China (UYoung) and the US (Spotlight Licensing).
The Ollie & Moon Show is already well entrenched on global airwaves, currently running on NBCUniversal’s preschool block Sprout (US), Netflix (US and Canada), France Télévisions (France), YLE (Finland), TVO, TFO and Knowledge (Canada), Discovery (Middle East) and VRT (Belgium).
The series is based on a book series by author and illustrator Diane Kredensor (Pinky and the Brain, Clifford the Big Red Dog) that’s published by Random House. It’s aimed at kids ages three to six, and features both 2D animation (feline best friends Ollie and Moon) and live-action backgrounds.
