Madrid-based distributor Brands & Rights 360 (B&R360) has sold RCN Colombia’s Chica Vampiro to Disney Channel Spain.
The 120 x 45-minute tween novela series premiered earlier this month on the Spanish net and is being backed by Disney’s digital and social platforms.
For licensing and merchandising in the region, B&R360 has signed Warner Music Spain (CDs and DVDs), Simba Toys (master toy partner), Cife (stationery), Planeta (publishing) and Planet Events (concerts). Initial products will hit shelves across Spain by the end of this month.
Chica Vampiro follows the story of a young girl whose parents turn her into a vampire. Other global broadcasters on board the series include Gulli (France), Boing (Italy), Biggs (Portugal), Zoom (Israel), Nickelodeon (Benelux and Poland) and Gulli Girl (Russia).
