Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana has partnered with Burger King on an in-restaurant promotion for its animated show Mysticons. Four minifigures from the fantasy series are now available to collect in King Jr meals during an eight-week promotion set to run in more than 7,400 restaurants across the US and Canada.
Mysticons follows four girls as they are transformed into legendary warriors. The series airs on Nickelodeon in the US and on Corus’ YTV and Teletoon in Canada. The show’s YouTube channel boasts more than 4.2 million views.
Last year Imprint–a division of Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group–signed on to publish a series of novels inspired by Mysticons. The exclusive agreement will kick off in June and will feature novelizations of existing episodes as well as original middle-grade novels inspired by the series.
