The Lantic Group has signed on as the branding and licensing agent for Koko Rose Media’s lifestyle brand, Deer Little Forest, in the US.  Formed in 2017 by former Disney consumer products VP and GM, Jonathan Symington, The Lantic Group will be developing a licensed publishing strategy for toys, stationery, apparel, arts & crafts and more.

To build out the US presence of the art and lifestyle brand, The Lantic Group will be looking for new licensees and retailers across categories.

Deer Little Forest is created by illustrator, Jo Rose, featuring animals and nature-inspired designs. The IP has been licensed for stationery, housewares, digital games and magazines in more than 30 countries. Some of the products include a picture book written by Alison Green (Fox in the Dark), developed in partnership with Ingrid Selberg and Margaret Hope (both formerly Simon & Schuster), a series of interactive book apps in development with AmayaSort and a line of baby book concepts.

Koko Rose Media also teamed up the kids digital developer Playrific to launch an app based on the property. The app features the artwork in 18 different activities including puzzles, coloring pages, an ebook and maker games including one based solely on the brand’s greeting cards.

All of the rights for the brand are held by Koko Rose Media, a joint-venture between Lisa Hryniewicz and Jo Rose. International licensing rights are managed by This is Iris (UK & Ireland), Honmoku (Japan), Icon Company (Russa, CIS), and Empire Multimedia (China, South Korea, South East Asia).
