Guess Kids launches Miraculous Ladybug collection

The clothing brand is creating a kids collection based on the ZAG TV series that will be available in Europe this summer.

Global clothing brand and retailer Guess has teamed up with independent animation studio ZAG to develop a Guess x Be Miraculous Ladybug kids collection. Featuring characters from popular ZAG, TF1 and Method Animation series Miraculous–Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, the line will be available on the Guess.eu website and in select European retail stores beginning in August, before rolling out to other territories.

Aimed at kids ages six to 12, the collection will include 50 different fashion items including floral prints on chiffon tops and flowing dresses. A boys line will also include skinny fit denim, t-shirts, check shirts, fleece and a faux-leather biker jacket.

The second season of Miraculous debuted last fall and is continuing its roll out this year across Europe on Disney Channel and France’s TF1. Currently, the series is available in more than 120 countries worldwide.

Disney EMEA renewed the series for second and third seasons in 2017. Last year also saw the addition of new UK licensees including Gosh! Designs, IglooBooks, Kokomo and Roy Lowe. Netflix scooped up US streaming rights to Miraculous at the end of 2016.
