Michelle Melanson has stepped down from her role as president of Boat Rocker Studios’ Radical Sheep, leading to an executive shuffle at the Toronto, Canada-based company.

Melanson was VP of production and development at Radical Sheep from 2009 until 2016, when Boat Rocker acquired the kids prodco. She’ll leave her position today, January 18, to pursue other opportunities, according to a Boat Rocker Media release.

Over the course of her career at Radical, Melanson served as an executive producer on The Bagel and Becky Show (pictured) for Teletoon Canada, Fangbone! for Disney XD and The Next Step  for Family Channel, among many others.

With Melanson’s departure, Shaleen Sangha has been named VP of Radical Sheep. She’ll lead the kids division’s daily activities, including development and production, and report to Boat Rocker Media co-executive chairmen Ivan Schneeberg and David Fortier. Sangha joined Radical last April  as senior director of development and production. Prior to joining Radical Sheep, Sangha served as director of development at DHX Media.
