UK-based Koko Rose Media and Canadian prodco Bejuba! Entertainment have struck partnerships with animation producer Yeti Farm Creative and multi-Emmy Award-winning producer/writer Scott Cameron to grow the creative team for its upcoming CGI-animated preschool series Flora of the Forest.
Founded by Ashley Ramsay, Todd Ramsay and Jason Surridge, British Columbia-based Yeti Farm is a 2D and 3D CGI animation studio and original IP creator that’s worked on hit children’s television series including Little Charmers, Camp Lakebottom, Beat Bugs, and Max & Ruby. Cameron, meanwhile, is a producer with writing credits that include Cottonwood Media’s preschool hit The Ollie & Moon Show and Sesame Workshop’s The Electric Company.
Created and co-developed by illustrator Jo Rose with creative exec Karen Fowler (The Electric Company, Dot.) showrunning, Flora of the Forest follows the fun, learning adventures of a seven-year-old girl who lives with her research scientist mom in a treehouse in the forest.
Bejuba! will present a full bible, trailer and script by Fowler and Cameron at next month’s Kidscreen Summit in Miami. The show’s scriptwriting team also includes Chris Parker (Peppa Pig, Bob the Builder, Ben & Holly) and Sam Dransfield (Poppy Cat, Octonauts, Numtums). All rights to Flora of the Forest are held by Koko Rose, a joint venture between MD Lisa Hryniewicz and creative director Rose, while Bejuba! handles the show’s international distribution.
