Former Jakks Pacific and Playmates Toys exec Herb Mitschele will serve as EVP of global sales and operations at the US toy company.
January 3, 2018

Philadelphia-based Wicked Cool Toys has tapped Herb Mitschele as EVP of global sales and operations. In his new role, Mitschele will be responsible for instilling process and shoring up the company’s infrastructure.

Before joining Wicked Cool Toys, Mitschele served as CEO and co-founder of New York-based software company Shodogg. Prior to that, he was COO at CDI, a division of Jakks Pacific, and he also served as VP of international sales at Playmates Toys.

The appointment comes as Wicked Cool Toys prepares to take over as global master toy licensee for the Pokémon brand outside of Asia. The licensing agreement begins in July 2018, and The Pokémon Company International has also become a strategic investor in Wicked Cool Toys (with a seat on the company’s board of directors).
