Amazon and NBCUniversal have signed a deal that gives Prime Video exclusive streaming rights in the US and Canada to the new animated holiday film Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas Is You. Amazon has also made the film available to rent or buy digitally through Amazon Video, as well as via DVD and Blu-Ray.

Produced by Universal 1440 Entertainment, the movie is inspired by Carey’s popular holiday tune of the same name, which was the most streamed holiday song on Amazon Music last year. It is narrated and executive produced by Carey, and features a new original song by the artist as well as three of her classic holiday hits.

All I Want for Christmas Is You follows Little Mariah, played by Breanna Yde (School of Rock), who she sees a puppy named Princess at the pet store that she wants for Christmas. Before her wish can come true, though, she has to prove that she can care for her uncle’s dog.

Carey’s song was released in 1994 and has sold more than 14 million copies. In 2016, it rose through the charts again reaching number one on Billboard’s Holiday 100 for four consecutive weeks.
