On the heels of its inaugural HASCON last month, Hasbro has announced that its second HASCON FANmily event will take place in September 2019 in Providence, Rhode Island.

Following in the footsteps of popular entertainment gatherings like Comic-Con and Disney’s D23 Expo, last month’s three-day event featured Hasbro stars including Transformers actor Mark Wahlberg, Marvel comics legend Stan Lee, sports YouTube group Dude Perfect and Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn. Attendees at the 2017 event were privy to hands-on brand experiences, meet-and-greets, sneak peeks, concerts, exclusive reveals and movie-themed panels.

News of HASCON’s 2019 return comes a week after Hasbro revealed its revenue rose 7% in Q3, mostly led by momentum in the gaming category. The first HASCON featured iconic brands including My Little Pony, Transformers and NERF, all of which drove growth for sales of Hasbro’s Franchise Brands by 7% to US$827.3 million in Q3.
