Independent French animation company Normaal Animation has hired former Gaumont Animation exec Marc Dhrami as its new head of business development and international sales.
Dhrami, who was most recently head of operations at Gaumont Animation, will be focused on developing global partnerships and co-productions along with selling Normaal’s series worldwide.
Normaal is currently producing 10 x nine-minute Hello World for France Televisions, Ella, Oscar & Hoo (52 x 11 minutes) for Canal+, YLE and SVT, and Barbapapa (52 x 11-minutes) for TF1 and Nickelodeon Junior.
