Season three of CBBC’s So Awkward will air in August on the British pubcaster. The announcement follows last month’s news that CBBC had commissioned a fourth season of the children’s sitcom.
The 13 x 30-minute episodes will follow three socially awkward friends as they navigate school, teenage crushes and growing pains. It was created by Julie Bower and commissioned by Cheryl Taylor at CBBC. It is produced by independent production company Channel X.
CBBC continues to push original content production, recently making a raft of commissions that included Zodiak’s new series Joe All Alone.
