Nickelodeon has promoted two team members to the VP level on the kidsnet’s project management team. Jamie Edelstein (pictured, left) has been named VP of creative operations, advertising project management at Nickelodeon Group, while Cheryl Konieczko (right) has been named VP of franchise creative project management.
Both Edelstein and Konieczko will continue to report to Eric Squires, SVP of creative operations and project management at Nickelodeon Group.
In her new role, Edelstein will oversee the creative development and delivery of custom TV, digital and print ads for Nick’s advertising and marketing partners. She will also work closely with various creative teams and the integrated marketing and sales teams to execute campaigns.
Most recently, Edelstein served as senior director, advertising project management, and has held several positions within Nickelodeon’s project management team. She has worked with a number of accounts including Mattel, Toyota, Nintendo and Paramount Pictures.
In her new role, Konieczko will manage the creation and execution of all advertising and marketing initiatives for Nick’s franchise properties. She will also supervise all corporate promotion, B2B creative and all third party-created advertising, as well as serve as a key liaison to the creative advertising, franchise marketing and consumer products teams.
Previously, Konieczko was senior director of franchise creative project management. Before joining Nickelodeon, she served in marketing, brand creative and special events for a number of Viacom brands.
