Nickelodeon is premiering a new 30-minute special of The Loud House on May 29, expanding the show’s universe with the addition of new characters.

The Loudest Mission: Relative Chaos takes two of the Loud family’s friends on a visit to their extended family, the Casagrandes.

All eight members of the Casagrandes family live under one roof, along with their dog and loudmouth parrot. The family is voiced by guest stars that include Carlos Alazraqui (The Fairly Odd Parents), Roxana Ortega (The League), Alexa PenaVega (Spy Kids), Jared Kozak (Born This Way), Ruben Garfias (East Los High), Sonia Manzano (Sesame Street) and Sumalee Montano (Nashville).

The Loud House originally debuted just over a year ago and has become a top rated show for Nickelodeon. Season two premiered as one of the top two animated series with kids two to 11 and kids six to 11 across US cable, competing with SpongeBob SquarePants for the top spot.

The hit is driving growth for Nickelodeon as well, helping the channel deliver 6% year-over-year ratings growth for kids ages six to 11 and 5% growth for kids two to 11.
