PJ Masks gears up for live tour

eOne is partnering with Round Room Presents to launch a US-wide live stage show based on the animated series this fall.

Entertainment One (eOne) has partnered with Round Room Presents to launch the first live stage show based on its animated series PJ Masks.

Time to Be a Hero! will be a fully immersive live production with music and aerobatics. It will visit more than 50 cities across the US and Canada beginning in September.

In addition to the live show, eOne continues to grow the brand’s consumer products program. This fall, new items from licensing partners Choco-Treasure (chocolate surprise eggs), Frankford (chocolate, non-chocolate confections, seasonal gift sets), GBG Beauty (bath, personal care), Primary Colors (cookies, candy, packaged gummies), Pure Growth (organic breakfast bars, biscuits) and Tin Box (tin containers) will hit shelves across the US.

The property’s first music release—the mini-album Here We Come—is currently available for digital download through iOS and Android platforms. The album features 10 songs that will be familiar to fans, including the PJ Masks theme song.

PJ Masks—produced by eOne and Frog Box in collaboration with TeamTO, Disney Junior and France 5—first premiered in the US in 2015. The series has since gone global on Disney Channel in territories including the UK, France and Australia.

Time to Be a Hero!  will square off against Moose Toys’ recently announced Shopkins live tour, which will kick off its first theatrical production in the US this fall. The Shopkins Live! production will feature fan-favorite Shopkins and Shoppies characters and will include original music and video highlights.
