Kidscreen Summit will make its return to Miami in 2018, after experiencing a 12% year-over-year increase in registrations that brought nearly 2,000 delegates to last week’s event.
The 2017 edition of Kidscreen Summit saw a significant boost in attendance from Asia-Pacific, South America and Europe. Asia-Pacific had a 41% increase in delegates, particularly from China, which had twice as many attendees this year compared to the 2016 edition. Significant increases in delegates from South America (up 24%) and Europe (up 13%) also helped shape this year’s summit and its underlying messages surrounding diversity.
The four-day event was kicked off by Dr. Richard Weissbourd (pictured), who presented a data-filled keynote on instilling kindness that was met with a standing ovation from the packed room.
