Corus Entertainment-owned Nelvana Enterprises has bolstered its senior management team by adding licensing and entertainment industry vets Peter Crighton, Kelly Elwood and Tonya Lindo.
All reporting directly to Nelvana Enterprises head Pam Westman, Crighton will serve as director of marketing, Elwood as retail director and Lindo will helm North American licensing efforts also in a director role.
Crighton was most recently manager of franchise marketing at Disney Consumer Products, after previously serving as senior manager of retail marketing for the House of Mouse’s home entertainment division.
Retail expert Elwood was formerly SVP of marketing and licensing at DHX Media, before which she was SVP of marketing and licensing for the Cookie Jar Group of companies.
Lindo, meanwhile, had previously helmed North American licensing efforts at Nelvana, but left to be a senior manager of consumer products at Mattel Canada. She now returns to her role to run all licensing strategies throughout the US and Canada.
The trio of hires joins Westman’s management team that includes Antoine Erligmann, head of Nelvana EMEA, Jerry Diaz, VP of worldwide sales and distribution, brands director Lily Yan, and Andrew Liem, director of creative services.
