Cake Entertainment has acquired the worldwide distribution rights (excluding Japan) for Tolibob, a new CBeebies and ABC Australia preschool commission produced by UK-based Beakus in association with Welsh studio Cloth Cat (Boj).

The 52 x five-minute series follows the everyday learning adventures of Tib, Lalloo and Bobble, a group of imaginative, forest-dwelling creatures known as the Tolibobs.

In each problem-solving episode, the Tolibobs combine shapes, colors and patterns to create a new character that joins their creative play environment.

Tolibob is created by BAFTA award-winning director/producer Steve Smith and author/illustrator Leigh Hodgkinson.

The series will be introduced at MIPCOM.
