Epic! is partnering with Sesame Workshop to bring Sesame Street content to its subscribers for the first time. The California-based content and learning platform for kids 12 and under is adding a collection of audio-enabled read-to-me books, as well as a range of learning-based short-form content to its library of eBooks and educational videos.
In total, Epic! will add a dozen eBooks and 33 short videos from Sesame Workshop to its library, which consists of more than 15,000 books and 1,500 videos. The items were chosen to represent a broad sampling of Sesame Street over the years.
Epic! is available on Android, iOS, Apple TV and all web browsers. Single subscriptions priced at US$4.99 per month provide unlimited access to Epic!’s entire library for one parent and up to four children.
The partnership builds on Sesame Workshop’s focus on learning through digital platforms. Earlier this year, Sesame launched the Love to Learn campaign on its YouTube channel, which features Elmo collaborating with popular YouTube creators on new songs and video content. Topics covered by the Love to Learn campaign include animals, teamwork and sportsmanship, music and cooking.
