Former Cyber Group Studios exec Marie Congé has joined Parisian prodco GO-N as head of sales and business development. The newly created position will see Congé develop and implement global sales strategies, grow new revenue streams and oversee business-development activities.

Until earlier this month, Congé was VP of international sales, acquisitions and new media at Cyber Group Studios. Prior to Cyber Group, she was SVP of international distribution and consumer products at Moonscoop.

Her arrival comes as GO-N expands its commercial activities and accelerates the creation of content for both linear TV and new platforms.

Since 2008, GO-N Productions co-founders Anne de Galard and Eric Garnet have been handling international sales of their own productions through the commercial entity GO-N International, which has distributed GO-N series Zip Zip in more than 100 countries.

Earlier this year, GO-N Productions expanded its activities in order to integrate 100% of the production of its latest show, Simon, in-house. The 52 x five-minute series will make its debut at MIP Junior in October, where Congé will look to boost commercial activities surrounding the preschool brand. The series, adapted from the bestselling books by Stephanie Blake and published in France by l’Ecole des Loisirs, has already been pre-sold to France Télévisions, RTS Switzerland, YLE Finland, Télé-Québec and HOP! TV Israel.
