Cartoon Network’s anticipated Ben 10 reboot will hit the small screen across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia this fall, followed by the Americas in spring 2017.
Protagonist Ben Tennyson will be reintroduced to a new generation of audiences in the 40 x 11-minute series produced by Cartoon Network Studios and created and executive produced by Man of Action Entertainment (Big Hero 6, Generator Rex). John Fang (Mixels, Generator Rex) is on-board as supervising producer.
The popularity of the series—which originally premiered in 2006—launched three additional animated spin-offs Ben 10 Alien Force, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien and Ben 10: Omniverse. The series also led to two animated movies (Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix and Ben 10: Destroy All Aliens), two live-action movies (Ben 10: Race Against Time and Ben 10: Alien Swarm) and a game (Ben 10 Alien Force: The Rise of Hex).
On the licensing front, Ben 10 has generated more than US$4.5 billion in global retail sales. Global master toy partner will release new Ben 10 figures, play sets, role-play items in fall 2017.
