Sesame Workshop is set to launch Love to Learn, a new six-month campaign on Sesame Street’s YouTube channel that will see Elmo collaborate with a number of popular YouTube stars on new videos and songs based on different monthly topics.

For July’s topic, which is animals, Elmo will meet popular YouTube animated feline Simon’s Cat and learn about odd cat behaviors around bath and play time.

In August, teamwork and sportsmanship will be celebrated for the Olympics, then September’s back-to-school topic will feature Elmo and YouTubers Eh Bee Family.

Music and dancing will be October’s topic, featuring Ernie joining YouTube sisters Lennon & Maisy on a cover of a new arrangement of the classic song “I Don’t Want to Live on the Moon”.

Meanwhile, November’s cooking topic will include Cookie Monster celebrating his birthday by guest starring on Rosanna Pansino’s show Nerdy Nummies (pictured), which is one of the top three female-hosted channels on YouTube.

Finally, December will highlight kindness and see Elmo and social media star Jérôme Jarre team up on a mission to spread kindness throughout New York. Grammy-winning country musical group Little Big Town will also make an appearance.

Combined with the Love to Learn YouTube celebrities’ following, the campaign is expected to reach up to 93 million fans.

It will also include a new DVD, iTunes collection, games on www.sesamestreet.org, and content in Sesame Street magazine.
